One of our first activities that we held this year was building a float for our Homecoming Parade.  This is the first year that are chapter put together a "REAL" float and we ended up receiving "Best Club Float" for 1998.  We are all very proud of that accomplishment. 
Since our theme was "Movies", we built a float that had al large film reel on it.  A film strip came off from the reel that had pictures on Princess Diana, Chris Farley and James Belushi.  We chose them because they were famous and they all died from drug abuse.  The film laid across a casket and there were gravestones around it.
Thank you to everyone that put those countless hours into building this great success.  And thank you to the SADD-MI office for lending us the extremely successful Vince and Larry costumes.  Two students wore the costumes and walked in the parade and all of the little kids loved them.
